I know many of you are frustrated with tying knots at the end of your thread. My mom is a quilter and taught me the best trick for tying knots. This is SUPER easy and makes a perfect and thick knot every time.
Since it's rather hard to explain in writing, I've attached a step by step picture tut as well as a short YouTube video to see it in action. My Favorite Knot YouTube - How to Tie a Quilters Knot I use upholstery thread which is a bit heavier than embroidery floss or standard sewing thread and won't break when your pulling those creases really tight. This method also works great if you sew korkers because you can stop the knot at any place on the thread (I usually leave 3" from the knot to tie off with). If you double up your thread just wrap both ends around the needle instead of the long end only.
Hope you find this helpful and are smiling about your easy knots!!
