| | Re: HELP with korkers
I make mine a little differently than most, but have always had fabulous success with them. I lay a piece of matching ribbon (usually the feathered satin in 1/8") in about a 12" long strip across the table. Then I alternate colors, lining the cut corker ribbon in a row across the long strip. Then, I take the ends of the ribbon strip, and tie very tightly the cut corkers in a bunch in the middle. Once they are tied in a bunch, I tie the whole thing to my covered clippie, and double-knot it. Once that is done, I give the whole thing a "hair cut", making it look as round and puffy as possible. Then I give the whole thing a good douse of hairspray to help keep it stiff. It really works. Good luck!
