I have only ever baked my twisted bows and as long as your bows aren't flat when you put them in they wont be when they come out
I use UB ribbon known for being the flimsiest and I spray with starch/water mix till they are good and wet then bake at 250 for 20 mins and they come out like a dream!!!! I actually baked 30 itty bitty's and 20 3" 's the other night. I use a foil lined cookie sheet but thats it just lay them on there and in they go.
