When I first made korkers I baked them at too high of a heat, and had this happen, since then I lowered the heat, and haven't had anything bleed. I did also notice that when using gas I needed to lower the temp 25 more degrees.
I rarely make korkers anymore, I hate 'em! I only do enough to use as pieces to be used with other bows.
I bake them at 300 for only 15mins. I guess I will try to lower the heat. But I just dont what them not to cook. Thanks
