Heat n Bond is fine as long as you use Heat n Bond LITE - not ULTRA. The Lite is not permanent but will hold long enough so you can attatch the ribbon. I use it for all my appliqueing. Watch the temp on your iron - too hot WILL melt the ribbon!! If you are nervous about ripping the seams open on a tee, just turn the ends of the ribbon under at the sides instead. Here's a tee I made using that method.
