If you go to walmart in the craft/wedding favor section, you can buy a spool of tulle and for what I've made, it's just the right width for the strips. You can go even easier then her instructions and use a stretchy headband (you know those skinny ones that look like a huge ponytail holder) use that for attaching your tulle to (if your wearer is a little person of course
Intead of a loop knot I tie them on. Tulle is so delicate, I found it hard to do the loop knot with the material. Mine look nice with just a regular tie Try it both ways and see what you like best.
Tutus are the most fun, cheapest thing to make! You'll love it
