I've tried just swiping quickly over the lighter, but it still burns. Before, I did not starch and I didn't notice this problem; however I was using nylon ribbon and now I'mm using just grosgrain. Anyone have a suggestion?
Thanks!

The starch is causing it to burn. Heat seal before you starch.
