Make sure your ribbon is 100% polyester, or it won't hold the spiral shape for long. 275 F for 20-25 min. I always sew mine (stack on the needle). After it's stitched, I snip any stray ends to make it snowball shaped & spray with starch to keep its shape.

UB is great for 3/8 solids & dots. Dirt Cheap ribbon!! 50 yard spools of solid colors for $1.45/ roll!!! They do require a $50 min order and shipping is reasonable (I think I paid $13 for my $120 order). I wish someone had told me about them when I had started...
