When using your wood dowel bow maker do you take the bow off before sewing it or do you sew it while it's still on the maker? I have found that I have to leave it on there, because as soon as I take it off, the loops "slip" and it doesn't look too good. I know her instructions say to take it off and re-adjust, but I haven't figured out to do that without my whole bow falling apart. Hopefully what I just said makes some kind of sense, LOL.
Though I will also say that a few of the style bows I make I find I do a lot better doing them by hand, I think because I like having complete control over the loops
