Default frustrations of a bowmaker

I have been making bows for almost 2 yrs. So I would think at this point a bow would come out perfectly on the first try. I bought the gator bite a month or so ago. I figured out the best way to use it for my method. I crease my ribbon at 1.5" for tails then half in length then half again like michelle's instructions. What I find happens is my center is either up to high or too low. Am I making sense. I try to line everything up the way it should be. I don't know what I am doing wrong.
