Default Bottle cap images and water proofing.

So I am after some advice on what to do or use to help water proof/resist bottle cap images I print off myself.
I have been making some and they tend to run, some little ones were in the rain walking home from school and the images were destroyed. They were sealed with epoxy stickers, and I hot glued them into the caps.
After some googling and investigation I bought a product at my local store that is a paper sealer for scrapbooking. Mod Podge I think it is called. Would u paint it on the back of the image seeing as the front is sealed with the epoxy dot, or would I paint back and front, or will it make the front run seeing as its just out of my printer.
I know you all will have some fabulous ideas for me and I am looking forward to hearing them!
