Hmmm- that is a tough one for sure. I think you probably have to tie off the ends some how, but I have no idea what the best method would be.

You might try stitching over right around where you want to cut it and then cutting off just after your stitching. The idea is that the stitching would hold the strings of the beads in place so the next ones don't fall off.

That's all I can think of though.
