Default Re: Woodburner or fraycheck?

Creative Hotmarks is the burner I have. I worked with it a little bit yesterday6 and it gets real hot but it did not heat seal the ribbon as well as I would have liked it to. I was using the blade tip. Am I doing something wrong or is this brand woodburner not a very good one?

Also, those of you that use a flame to seal your do you get it to seal evenly without it looking warped? How do you seal spiker "V" cuts?
