I bought a metal template from one from one of the hairbow supply places and a 20.00 woodburner from Michael's with a 50% off coupon and I love sealing my ribbons this way. You just line the ribbon up with the measuring grids on the template and the woodburner slices through the ribbon like melting butter. My ends are so perfect now. Welcome to the boards.
I've seen the wood burning tool on several tutorials on youtube but I just use a bic lighter for now. I may have to try this out. Thank you for the tip.
