I'm working on perfecting my TBB and I've been using MommyCraftsAlot's tutorial on youtube. I always seem to get one side (usually the right side) perfect and can't say the same for the other. I'm beginning to think I should try out the salon clip, but I'm on a very limited budget (I went from working 60-70 hours a week to stay at home mom) so having only one income puts a damper on buying more supplies though I'm stocked on ribbon for awhile.
If any of you ladies have tips that can help I would appreciate it. If I need to buy a salon clip I will . Maybe there is something I have around the house to help or can make??
After a couple weeks and a lot of practice I finally had my "ah ha" moment! I had to completely change around my technique. I begin folding my ribbon differently than I was and now sewing. I had a lot of trouble doing the 3 fold crease but noticed when I sew it really helps handling the ribbon.
I'm happy to move forward..I'm wanting to focus on OTT bows.
I have a 2 year old son who will likely end up as my model
