Default Re: Stolen photos

I'm going to play the devil's advocate here ladies, so don't hate me please.
Just something to think about.

I understand how frustrating it is to have someone steal and use something of yours, especially for profit on something that they did not create, it has happened to me. It hurts and it makes you angry. Above all, it is wrong!
I have read many posts here about how someone has stolen pictures or a tutorial from someone else, and read the outraged replies from the forum.

Again, I am not saying that it is right to steal photos.
AND remember....Devil's advocate here. No ANGER please.

Does it ever occur to anyone that when you make and sell an Item (and I am excluding licensed pre-printed items AND I am not saying I haven't done it either) that has anything to do with Disney that you are doing the very same thing? Or Dora? Or Marvel?

Because they are big companies that make millions of dollars does not make it right to participate in Copyright infringement, and then be outraged when it happens to a small crafter. It is equally wrong to steal from big companies as it is to steal from a small crafter.

Just a thought to chew on
