Hiya (im uk so terminology of things maybe a tad different)

I use wooden dowel we call it, which i get from hardware stores (its meant for joinery or for threading into net curtains) i just use a hacksaw to cut to size to fit in oven, (first few times i use a new piece ribbon sticks slightly) but i get tight curled korkers afterwards and no staining, unless i accidently bake for too long
