Default Having a HUGE Conflict

Ok...let me see if I can explain this clearly lol...

When I line a clip, I usually leave the part on the top but on the inside not glued. Why? becasue when I attach the bow I usually leave enough center knot string to wrap around and glue to the underneath of the top part and then glue the the rest of the lining for the clip over it.

Does that make sense? If so, it winds up costing me a LOT of time. Should I line my clips and just hot glue the bow to the top or is the extra step I'm taking worth the time? holds me up BIG time....
