Do you leave it as a "bead" or do you smooth it out? We only use slip grips upon cutomer request (about 2 or 3 a show) we find it much easier to by the adhesive back foam rubber ones.

It does take forever, but the trade off is worth it for me. I have customers bring me bows from other places to put the silicone on them! I have just left it as a bead. When I try to smooth it, it gets everywhere! I bought some of the tape to try and it seems to work ok, but not as good as the real thing Eventually, I will probably buy at least standard color clips and use the tape for big shows. I get so many compliments on it that I'm too afraid to switch. And honestly, my daughter is 5 and I've not found anything that stays in her hair except that! I love it!!!!
