Wood burner... interesting...

I'm not too concerned about fraying because the hole is for a snap. Setting the snap distorts the ribbon, and poking a hole through it with an awl doesn't really help -- I think the threads must actually be cut, not just pushed away. Grograin distorts pretty badly, probably doe to the nature of the weave.

Is there such a thing as a punch that cuts cleanly through fabric?
