No worries, no stupid questions.

I hold each piece of ribbon individually in it's slot. So I'll take one piece, lay it in a slot, dab a small glue dot and clip an alligator clip to it, grab another piece of ribbon and do the same in all 10 slots. Next I take my glue gun and run a line of glue along the length of the clip on one clip and pull up my ribbon to cover the top. I do the same for all the slots again. Next I flip the clip liner asst and then place a dab of glue on the end and finish wrapping it. I hope that makes it clear on how I do it. Let me know if I explained that good enough.
