The Christmas bow spikes look like the were done the old fashion way: fold ribbon in half, use sharp scissors to cut across, while still folded, kiss the edges with a lighter.
The Mickey Mouse inspired one looks like it could have been done with a wood burner and a metal ruler.
I'm sorry to say but it really takes practice to get spikes just right. there are a few ribbon sellers that sell pre-cut spikes if you just can't get the hang of it.
