Default Learning how to make clay buttons using tools I already have: report cover & thimble

I have been experimenting with Sculpey Clay. I really like adding clay to the centers of my bows and have been trying to perfect my skills without buying all the fancy tools. I wanted to roll the clay evenly but found it really hard when using wax paper or saran wrap because it left lines. Instead I found if I place the clay between a report cover and rolled it out it left no marks!

I then used a thimble to cut the buttons. Lastly, I added indents, large holes, or small holes to the centers using tools I had on hand.

You can leave them plain or jazz them up with rhinestones or stamping ink.
