Wow, wow, wow!!! Now my little corner of the dining room table is REALLY put to shame!
I would keep the fireplace though! Put a little French bistro table with a couple of chairs by it and that could be your little coffee shop corner for customers/family/you to sit in.
Besides, it might come in handy whenever it gets chilly.
