When you first start GIMP and you click "file" then "new," the "Create New Immage" box opens. Click to open the advance options and set the X and Y resolution to 300 pixels/inch. That's what I have done, but for some reason they are printing out just a tad too small. I'm not sure what I did wrong. So I used my open office one and they come out fine. Only thing I don't like about my open office is, I haven't figured out how to put them on a 4x6 sheet. I can make my designs in Gimp then copy them over to Open Office and they print the perfect size.
