Something like that. With Corel I have to select "Extract Object" then I would like it and click next. Then I click outside of the selected area and it creates a translucent background. I then choose the detail extraction level and then clean up the lines. After it is extracted I open a new file with a transparent background and copy and paste it into that and save as a .PSD or something similar depending on what I need to do with it.
